It amazes me that this day has come and gone over six months ago now. It feels like only yesterday, Morgan, Mary Lyn and I were wandering through the gardens, finding the perfect place for this or that and dreaming up new possibilities for one of the most epic / one-of-a-kind weddings, I have ever had the pleasure to be involved.
It’s days like these that remind me why my heart and soul are so deeply rooted in Atlantic Canadian soil. I mean, honestly, where else can you find practically the original Secret Garden, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean? We really do have it all out here in this little province of ours.
Twenty months, 300 taper candles and a whole lotta’ love later, Morgan and Adrian’s perfect day unfolded.
Credit for this day goes out to SO many individuals, but sitting pretty at the top of the list is our Beautiful Bride, Morgan and her incredible Mother-In-Law Mary Lyn – owner, designer and curator of this magical property. Morgan and Mary Lyn continued to surprise their guests until the very last seconds of the wedding with their personalized touches, heartfelt care and attention to detail.

The one and only Candace Berry photographed this day, the way it deserved to be captured. And I know first hand what a pleasurable experience it was for Chelsea Lee Flowers to work with blooms picked straight from the gardens themselves.
Blogging about this day is so dear to me. I often feel like my wedding day blog posts are the end of a chapter with this day and clients, but this one is different. Morgan and my coffee dates continue, and on a sunny Monday this summer, you’ll find me strolling once again through those gardens with two of my closest friends (Morgan and Mary Lyn – of course).
